About Malaysia's investment events calendar
Malaysia Investor Events is a directory, not a publisher — every investment event Malaysia investors can attend gets pulled here from organizers, ticketing platforms and brokers, checked, and listed with a real date, venue and registration link. This page answers one question: what's actually on, and where do I sign up. No sponsored placements, no pay-to-list ranking — just what's scheduled.
Who this is for
This calendar serves anyone building a relationship with money in Malaysia — first-time investors attending their first free seminar, professionals building financial literacy on the side, and fund managers scouting the room at a conference. New here? Start with investment seminars or investment webinars — the lowest-commitment format. Already know your strategy? Investment conferences and investor networking events are built for that.
Why attend at all
A single Q&A session can teach you what no book on wealth management can: what a fund manager actually thinks about the next twelve months, or which broker's platform genuinely works. Regular attendance is also how non-obvious opportunities surface — a co-investor, a mentor, an IPO briefing you wouldn't find by searching alone. Learning compounds the same way returns do.
Seminars, conferences, workshops or webinars — what's the difference?
The four formats solve different problems. A seminar is a single-topic talk, usually a few hours and often free. A conference is bigger — a full day or more, multiple speakers, built for networking as much as content. A workshop or course is structured, multi-session training for building an actual skill. A webinar is any of the above delivered online, often the easiest way to start.
Beyond investing — business and entrepreneurship
Not every event here is purely about stocks and funds. A meaningful share of the investor networking calendar overlaps with Malaysia's startup scene — founder pitch nights and business-focused mixers, since investors and entrepreneurs often share the same room. Genuinely relevant startup events surface under investor networking, and startup conferences, SME workshops and founder meetups now have their own home on Business Events.
Frequently asked questions
What investor events are happening in Malaysia this month? +
The homepage calendar lists all upcoming investor events in Malaysia — conferences, seminars, IPO briefings, property expos and fintech summits — updated daily from organizer and ticketing sources.
Are there free investment events in Malaysia? +
Yes. Many listed events are free, including regulator-run seminars, retail investment fairs and broker webinars. Use the "Free events only" filter to see them.
Where can I find investment courses in Malaysia? +
The investment courses page lists trading workshops, bootcamps and masterclasses across Malaysia with dates, venues, prices and direct registration links.
What's the difference between investment seminars, conferences, workshops and webinars? +
A seminar is a single-topic talk, usually a few hours and often free. A conference is bigger — a full day or more, multiple speakers, exhibitor booths, built for networking as much as content. A workshop (or course) is structured, multi-session training with a syllabus and hands-on exercises, usually paid. A webinar is any of these delivered online instead of in person. Each format has its own page on this site if you want to browse by type.
Can beginners attend these investment events? +
Yes — most listings welcome first-time investors, and many seminars and webinars are explicitly written for beginners covering the basics of investing, EPF planning or portfolio management. Each listing's description usually notes the intended experience level; advanced masterclasses and analyst-focused IPO briefings are the main exceptions.
Are online investment webinars available for Malaysian investors? +
Yes. The investment webinars page and the online events page both list virtual sessions you can join from anywhere in Malaysia, no travel required — most are free and run on Zoom or Google Meet.
Which Malaysian cities host the most investment events? +
Kuala Lumpur hosts by far the most, since Bursa Malaysia, the SC and most licensed brokers are headquartered there. Penang, Johor Bahru, Petaling Jaya and Ipoh are the next-largest hubs, each with a distinct flavour — see the locations pages for details on each.
Are cryptocurrency and fintech events included? +
Yes — the crypto & fintech events page tracks digital asset summits, Web3 festivals, blockchain workshops and SC Malaysia regulatory clinics, alongside broader fintech product launches and AI-in-finance sessions.
Do you list startup or business networking events? +
Yes — startup conferences, founder meetups, SME workshops and business networking events have their own page, Business & Entrepreneurship Events. Genuinely relevant startup pitch nights and business-focused mixers also still appear under investor networking, since Malaysia's investor and entrepreneur scenes overlap heavily.
How do I list my investment event on this site? +
Email the event details to malaysiainvestor.events@gmail.com — listings are free and are usually published within two working days.
